A bit about myself: my name is Madison, and I'm currently a graduate student at Georgia State University. I've been pet sitting since I was 16 (mostly for friends and neighbors), and I have my own pup, Rogi. Rogi is a rescue dog and has separation anxiety. He's well-behaved and loves playing with other animals (cats included), but because of his separation anxiety, I try not to leave him home alone very often. So short stays with me will be completely supervised, and I'll do my best to ensure longer stays with me will be the same. But just in case I need to do a grocery run, I do ask that dogs staying for two or more nights come with a crate. I do my best to stay at home unless I'm taking the pets on a walk or to the dog park. And dog park visits are only with your expressed permission. Needless to say, I love animals! During my undergraduate years, I volunteered weekly at a local animal shelter. There, I picked up some pet CPR and First Aid knowledge. Thankfully, I haven't had to apply any of that knowledge--I try to minimize hazards by keeping my home secure and clean and by using toys that match the size of the animals I'm sitting. My neighborhood is large, making it great for long walks. I try to walk Rogi once or twice each day, and our walks are usually about 45 minutes long. But I'm happy to meet the needs of your pup if he/she needs more or less exercise! My home has a fenced-in backyard, but it's a small backyard--that's why I frequent the dog park and take long walks. And my home itself isn't very large, but nevertheless, the dogs and I always manage to get lots of play in! I also offer some complimentary services with boarding and day care! Let me know if your pup needs a nail trimming, bathing, or brushing. I have a variety of dog shampoos, but I'm happy to use anything you provide! And as far as brushes go, you may or may not need to provide one (depending on the type of coat your pup has). Of course, we can talk more about your needs if you send me a message! In short, I'd love to meet you and your furbaby! If you have any questions or want to schedule a meet and greet, definitely reach out--I can travel just about anywhere, and I'm willing to accommodate special needs dogs and dogs of any size! Also, I do live with my boyfriend, so he might be snuggling with your fubaby at times. But he works late hours and is rarely home on the weekends, so most pups will just enjoy me!
