Hi all! I'm a nursing student at Mizzou, and I volunteer at the Central Missouri Humane Society where I walk dogs. I also spend time sitting and socializing with dogs who need extra attention at the shelter. I recently rescued a dog (Basil) from the humane society so I spend a lot more time at home working on socialization. In STL, my family has a goldendoodle and a pit bull mix dog who was also adopted from the Humane Society. I really enjoy being around dogs and would be a responsible, caring helper! *Also have extensive experience with rats, please message me for details! Since my school schedule can be hectic, I keep a separate dog calendar to keep track of dates as well as info about your dog and how to best care for them. Communication is very important to me so I work really hard to reply to messages immediately. I understand the importance of respecting others' space since I also rely on sitters to come to my apartment and help with my dog. That said, I will treat your home the same way I would expect a sitter to treat mine. **About my home/services** I provide pet sitting in your home. I would be happy to come check on your pet, feed them and take them for a walk while you are away on vacation or if you work long hours. I can also just take your dog on a walk/run if your dog needs more exercise. **What to expect** I am open to suggestions about what your pet likes. I enjoy playing with dogs by throwing a tennis ball or using dog toys. I also love sitting with dogs and giving them attention! **Special rules or requests** I have no breed restrictions. I have experience with many different breeds through the Humane Society. At the Humane Society, I like to walk the high energy/trouble dogs because they don't get as much walking as other dogs- so energetic dogs do not bother me. I can not look after a pet who is aggressive towards strangers/people so that I do not get hurt. I understand some dogs are scared of strangers and would be willing to look after them as long as they do not have a tendency to bite. I am also uncomfortable with dog parks because other dogs are unpredictable.
