Hi there, I would be a perfect fit to take care of any animal. I have lived on and around farms my entire life so I know a lot and can handle any situation from a hyper dog to a nervous shy dog no matter what I will give them the love and care they need. I have groomed dogs for 15 plus years and will also offer that as a added service. Take the worry away on your vacation or work trip and have your beloved furry friend taking care of by me. My schedule is very flexible, This is my full time job so I have plenty of fun activities for your dogs throughout the day. I really take the time to get to know them and there wants or needs. Come hang out on the farm with me. I have three dog friendly lakes within minutes from my house with endless trails and no cars for miles. In the winter I love to go cross country skiing down in the meadow with my pack of animals. If your dog is shy and more laid back they will have plenty of quite space inside. Please note I do not have a fenced yard if needed I do have a kennel outside or can keep you pet on a leash.

Madelyn was a great host! She met us down in Truckee when the roads were snowed in to pick up Gün. Property was excellent for dogs to explore and get out energy. Highly recommend for anyone looking to check the hot springs nearby :))

We just picked up our two large dogs from being with Madelyn for two weeks. I had never left them for that long before, so I was worried but she sent us updates daily and it looked like they were having so much fun, I wasn't sure they would want to come home! We have a one year old and a 13 year old so Madelyn was fantastic accomodating both of their needs. She met us in Truckee for both pick up and drop off. She is super sweet and I highly recommend her. My dogs will be thrilled for their next visit.

My home is a cage free environment. I like the dogs to feel like they are on vacation to not just left in a kennel alone somewhere. They sleep were they are most comfortable! Plenty of water bowls thought my property and a big grassy lawn to run around on.

It is always great to know if your dog has any flight risk I love to give a dog that free feeling of running on a hike but never want them to run away if you think there is a chance I will keep them leashed. Does your dog get Along with other animals and people I want everyone to be comfortable when they stay with me.
A typical day
We will go on great adventures to many lakes on the beautiful Sierra. We take hikes to lakes, River and creeks in the summer. In the winter will will do endless snow play and then warm up inside after.

Availability
I am home all week with your dog. We will have two hikes/walks a day, plenty of potty breaks or even just chill time if that’s what your dogs like I make a schedule for each individual dog and there wants or likes. They are never left unattended for more than 2-3 hours at most.
