Pet care experience
Having grown up with dogs in the house, you could say I have a lifetime of experience with them. From adopting a puppy to handling senior healthcare; to living with husky fur machines; to growing up with dogs ranging in size from small scotties to large greyhounds; I am a seasoned dog owner and lover. Although I do not have my own at the moment, I love platforms like these that allow pet lovers like myself the ability to spend time and care for others’ companions while allowing owners a sense of relief that their pet is in good hands while being away.

She took really good care of Cal. He really warmed up to her and he looked really happy when she sent us videos and pictures of him. Definitely keeping madeline in mind next time we use rover. She is very responsive so it was really easy to get in touch in with her.
Madeline was great! She boarded my 4 month old kitten and I couldn't be happier! She was very quick at responding and was open to meeting prior to the weekend. Her home is very clean and welcoming. My cat instantly felt comfortable. Throughout the weekend she would send me updates and photos. Would definitely recommend!
Madeline grew up with pets in the home and pets on the farm. She has taken care of everything from Goldfish to cats and dogs to cattle. She is a very caring person and treats every animal with utmost care and compassion. You can count on Madeline to take care of your pet!

I live in a 1br condo in midtown. For larger dogs, it may not be the most comfortable for longer term stays. If you typically crate your pet, please provide your own crate. For visiting pets in a client’s home, I am flexible and have no problem mimicking their pets’ typical routine. Please be aware that my job is an 8-5. Depending on how close their house is to my job, I can visit up to 3x a day (morning/afternoon/evening).

My only requirement for booking requests at my condo is for your pet to be house trained. Dogs that are used to being crated while away are also preferred, but not mandatory. Let me know if your dog has any needs or special preferences I need to account for - routine medication should not be an issue and I will happily accommodate. Although there are no preferences, please provide breed, size, age, and gender when booking.
A typical day
There are plenty of enjoyable walking routes through the surrounding neighborhoods in midtown. Having lived in Mobile for 5+ years, I am also knowledgeable about the parks and hiking trails in the area.

Availability
I currently work an 8-5 job. This allows me to have an hour for lunch that I can take to do a midday check or quick walk if needed. I am an active individual, so hyper dogs are not an issue. I live in a nice neighborhood where walking routes are convenient and enjoyable.
