Pet care experience
My family has had pets since I was born. There was not a year in my life when we did not have a dog. We have had a rabbit for over eight years, so I have experience working with small exotic pets. I also have cared for cats, rabbits, and reptiles. I'm often the first person my friends and family look to when inquiring about a pet sitter. I am extremely active and love to run and walk, especially with dogs! I'm looking to care for your pets to help get my pet fix while I am away from home for college!

I always ask owners about boundaries in their homes and make a list of things that aren't allowed. For example, if a pet is not allowed on the couch, I will ensure that I follow this rule strictly. I also make sure that pets are supervised constantly when I am with them.

Please let me know if your pet has any allergies or sensitivities to food or nature that I can be aware of before I begin to care for them. If they have a favorite toy or snack I would love to know so that they can have the best experience! I also ask about their energy levels. I want to ensure that I can meet the physical needs of your pets and not over exert them.
A typical day
I really enjoy making enrichment toys and treats for pets. For example, if a pet has their own enrichment toy (or if not I can bring my own), I put yogurt, peanut butter, and blueberries in it and freeze it for long-term enjoyment. I also like to play with the pet's various toys to see which is their favorite and maximize the amount of time I play with the dog. I love taking pets on walks in gardens, hikes, and on walking trails. I also love to stay active! I love to run and walk and am perfect for a high-energy pet.

Availability
I am free before and after my internship and classes to take care of your pets! I intern from 9-5 Monday through Thursday and am free before and after to drop in and hang out with your pets. I am also free almost all weekends!
