I believe that proper animal care involves not just physical, but also mental stimulation. I also believe that successful dog walks require constant and active communication between you and your companion. The pet care I provide is rooted in positive reinforcement and supported by an array of skills which were attained through both personal and professional experience. As a former dog trainer it is against my better nature to engage in a passive dog walk, which means: (1) I won't be scrolling through my phone while your dog pulls ahead, (2) I will never be without high-value treats, (3) I will refrain from using retractable leads, (4) I'll use commands your dog knows to reinforce their behavior throughout our walk, and (5) Any dogs or people we meet along the way will be greeted politely and responsibly. Drop-in services will include potty breaks and/or walks depending on the terms agreed upon. I'm also happy to check on your cat or other animals! I have experience with almost every type of pet you can think of.
