I set my schedule around priorities, and your fur baby takes my top spot! I have been watching dogs for family and friends since I was little and have volunteered at humane societies for some time here at home and when I was away at school. I grew up with cats, but have always loved all animals. In total, my family has had 7 cats, and they will always be in my heart. The youngest of them is still with us. I just adopted my own, so we have the two still trying to get used to each other. I have never had a dog. But don't let that deter you! I've spent much time around dogs through my life. If I had the space, I'd adopt one in half a second. I've fallen in love with so many dogs at humane societies, that it's been hard to leave. My cover photo is of Betty, a dog I met at the humane society near my school and in my other pictures you'll see Rolo and Pepper who were also there. I go to the humane societies because I know that those animals need to be played with and they need the attention. It's a win-win deal in my opinion - I get to hang out with animals, and they're reaping the benefits of being interacted with! I've had many dog-sitting jobs where I stay at the owner's house each night, feed the animals, walk them, go to work for a few hours, and then come back and feed them and walk them again. At the most, I have cared for 2 lab-sized dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, and three fish in one household, so I can handle more than just dogs! I am active in playing with animals (ie. rolling on the floor). I am about to start working a part-time job, so my hours will shift a little but not much. We can sort that out after we've contacted each other. I appreciate you viewing my profile!
