My full time career is teaching middle school literature, so I am mostly available in the summer and during school breaks. However, I can facilitate evening and weekend visits occasionally during the school year. Please note that I ONLY provide services for dogs due to allergies of other animals. I have been a pet owner for years and have extensive experience with large breeds. I have house sat and dog sat for various large breeds for several years as well as some experience with small breeds. Specific breeds I have experience with includes Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Docsons, Puggles, Shitzu, Italian Mastiffs, American Pit Bulls, Basset Hounds, Chihuahuas, Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, and Yorkies. Why I love dog sitting My love for dogs started when my parents bought my siblings and I a basset hound for Christmas when I was 5. Since then, my parents have had several Labradors in our family and my sister has gotten dogs as an adult, as well. My husband and I have two dogs who are our babies. We have a catahoula/maltese mix and a labrador/pitbull mix. As a dog owner/lover, I understand that you want your pets to be cared for with the utmost attention to detail and with a large dose of love to ensure they are happy and healthy while you are away. My experience administering medication Medicine is not a problem for me as long as detailed instructions are provided. I also ask that you leave adequate veterinary information in the case of a medical emergency.
