Pet care experience
After growing up with both a cat and dog (and looking after a few more exotic animals for friends), I felt like I had a piece of myself missing when I moved away to the city for college. So instead of getting my own pet, I have decided to look after a variety of our furry four legged friends. I aim to treat each pet with as much dedication and love as if it were my own. Each pet has it's own personality and style and I will adapt to exactly what your pet needs and wants. I may live in an apartment, but I love spending my time outdoors and doing activities - ensuring that your pet will get all the exercise it needs to have a happy and healthy stay. I am a conscientious, trustworthy, and animal-loving professional that can't wait to give your pets all the attention they need to enjoy their stay.

Madeline was very accommodating and a great sitter for our 2 year old lab. A big dog in the city isn’t easy and she took great care of Cuse!
We would give Madeline more than 5 stars if we could! We unfortunately had a sitter cancel on us last minute and were due to leave town in a few hours. Madeline made herself available on short notice, picked up our dog, and took him overnight and for the entire next day. She was very calm and welcoming and took great care of our dog. We’ve already booked her for a second time!
Madeline was great! She was super flexible with times and Biggie had a great time with her and her fiancé. She took this on short notice and was very cheerful and good-natured. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The need for "breed preferences" is unnecessary because each dog has it's own way of living no matter what breed it is categorized in. All I do ask is that you disclose any information you would want to know if you were asked to dog sit for anyone. Aka - is your pet prone to biting new sitters? or getting sick/relieving itself in the house? do they like to chew shoes? It would take a dramatically long time to list every detail that would be good to know about each dog - so instead, I simply ask that you inform me on any thing that you find specific to your pet that could impact the stay.
A typical day
I live in downtown Manhattan (FiDi), and therefore, am surrounded by parks on all sides. There is Battery Park and City Hall Park nearby, as well as South Street Seaport and the many dog play pens in the area. Not to mention the constant attention it will receive by playing fetch in the apartment or tug-a-war with a rope, your pet is sure to be entertained the entire time.
