Pet care experience
I grew up owning dogs of all breeds (terriers & pitbull mixes). In high school and junior high, I was my neighborhood’s go-to dog sitter & walker. In college, I fostered rescue dogs of all different breeds/ages plus I constantly dog sat for my friends who had dogs. Because of fostering and having had a rescue myself, I have experience with dogs that are reactive encountering other dogs on walks, etc. I’ve also cared for puppies as young as 1-2 months.
Reviews
Madeline helped take care of my two dogs for a weekend and was amazing! She was very responsible and reliable. She dropped in exactly when she said she would, and sent me updates every time. I also appreciated that she stayed and hung out with my dogs for a while on each of her visits, which was above and beyond what I had expected. Thank you again Madeline!
Madeline is great! I highly recommend her. She is reliable and friendly. My cat loves her.
Madeline took great care of my dog Bowie while I was away. Super responsive and sent nice updates. Would definitely recommend!
Madeline was perfect! She was flexible and very responsive. She took great care of our fur babies when we went out of town last minute. So thankful to her!

I do not have a yard to myself and will not be able to care for dogs in my own home, but I’m happy to spend time with your dog in your home/yard or out & about on walks.
Information Madeline B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any behaviors I should be aware of and how you would like me to correct and/or avoid them. I have experience with reactive dogs, but I generally have only walked the ones I had been training and working with to correct the behavior. I am happy to meet up beforehand to learn your dogs specific needs if necessary.
A typical day
I enjoy long walks and playing fetch, tug of war, etc. with dogs of all sizes. I’m newer to the Seattle area, but I love the many parks there are to explore here in North Seattle. I also think spending quality time with the pups, beyond the standard potty breaks, is just as important as the walks - I know very well that belly rubs and butt scratches are the way to most dogs’ hearts.

I just transitioned from working a heavy travel job in the field to working locally with a more typical schedule (8-5). I would love to spend my free time helping take care of your dog!
