Pet care experience
We love animals! We have many of our own (currently just dogs, cats, & parrots, but we’ve also owned dairy goats, chickens, quail, and guinea fowl in the past.) We love meeting and getting to know others. Our pets live the good life - they sleep where they want (we recently upgraded to a king sized bed, but somehow we both end up sleeping in tiny balls while the dogs and cats spread out) and they have 24/7 access to our completely enclosed back yard. The dogs get to go fun places (hikes, food festivals, etc.) and are very well socialized. David works from home, so there's almost always someone here with the pets (for daycare pups there's -always- at least one of us at home). We would love to set up a meet 'n' greet to get to know you and your pets! As long as your dogs are under 40lbs., fully potty trained, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered, and they're able to get along with our menagerie, we'd love to host them. If you'd like your animals to get lots of love, lots of companionship, and tons of fun while you're away, we'd be thrilled to give them a great experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about Madeline and David. They are Awesome ! I was away for about a week and they took great care of my precious fur baby Jolly, 7 month old puppy. It was our 1st time leaving him for an extended time. But prior to that week we had a meet & greet visit to their home, pet friendly home! Both Maddy & David are experienced and definitely knew how to introduce my Jolly boy to their own fur babies and her babies are so adorable and friendly. Of course there is the initial and normal reaction of barking to new dogs but it was short and very quickly they were calm and sniffing each other and following each other. Jolly was “okay”. It is very nice that they have a private yard for all of them to go outside and play. I was very happy for Jolly that he would have friends to play with. Maddy&David are so nice and you will be comfortable and reassured your baby is in great hands. I was having separation anxiety from my Jolly boy and their quick responses on a daily basis, very open communication letting me know how he was adjusting from feeding, potty, activities, sleeping , his mood, etc and sending lots of cute pictures of him were so helpful for me. They listen and inquire about Jolly’s routine and of course having important emergency information just in case. Hard as it may be to leave your fur baby, reach out to Maddy and David they are the are super awesome ! They definitely will take great care of your precious and whatever worries you may have they will put them at ease. Mahalo to you both Maddy &David! Jolly’s Mama …..
David and Maddy took amazing care of my little doggie baby and their pet family was very sweet in welcoming him!! He gets a little blue sometimes after I leave, but they gave him lots of love and snuggles and he came around. I would absolutely use their service again, no question!
Because of my granddaughters sudden illness, we were not needing a sitter for Mika. Maddy and David kindly and graciously accepted our cancellation. Thank you so much🫶🏻🐕
When picking up Mika at almost 2:00am on New Years morning, Mika was calm and in good spirits despite the crazy loud fireworks that had been blasting all night. I thank Maddy and David for caring for her so we could enjoy time with our family. What a good report considering the menagerie of animals in their household. We will call on them again💜🐕

Absolutely NO un-neutered male dogs over the age of 16 weeks can be cared for in our home. And we don’t normally host dogs over 40 lbs unless a repeat client or as determined on a case-by-case basis. If possible, please contact us at least 2 weeks ahead of the first day you'll need day care or boarding. This will allow us enough time to schedule a meet & greet, beforehand, with your pet(s) to determine if we're a good fit and your pet(s) get along OK with ours.
A typical day
Your dog(s) will get plenty of play time in our fully-enclosed back yard, and will enjoy leashed walks around the neighborhood. We don't normally utilize dog parks, as we've found them to be too unpredictable (it only takes one unconcerned owner to mess up a previously harmonious park!) but depending on the time of year, they may go with us on excursions if you want them to.

Availability
Your pup(s) will get tons of interaction with us and our pets. Our two youngest mini schnauzers keep us constantly entertained, and between playtime with us and with them, your babies will have fun-filled days and comfy nights.
