Pet care experience
I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years first as a volunteer at a shelter, and most recently at a pet daycare/boarding facility! Animals are my passion and I can do anything from general care, walks, special needs/medications, and can do drop offs and pick ups in the case of boarding/daycare.

Very flexible with times as we were running late and needed to change our end time. Sent pictures, and our Hazel was happy when we picked her up. :)

I always make sure there are no hazards in my apartment that are available to them, let them on any couches or beds, and my roommate and I both make sure to love on dogs that are staying with us :). I definitely make sure dogs get tired out through playing or walks, so that they can lounge around on the couch or my bed afterwords!

Please let me know if your pet has any medication or special needs i can help with! I would like to know about any aggression issues or triggers that your dog has, just so I can try to avoid those situations/make sure the dog is comfortable. I also am unsure how to change my settings… but I moved into a new place and it is a 1 bedroom apartment in Boulder that’s next to a park that I walk a lot of dogs in! And there are no other dogs in the house.
A typical day
A typical day would probably a walk/bathroom break in the morning, breakfast, probably playing with toys after that or if they want to run around and play at the park behind my apartment building. I also love snuggly dogs and lazy dogs, I would be perfectly happy snuggling all day. I usually take dogs all up and down the hill in my neighborhood, and sometimes walk along the creek with them if it’s sunny! I can also drive them to the dog park if that’s something that the client requests :)

Availability
I am a full time student, so I have classes in the mornings and up until 3:30 on thursday’s. None of my classes are more than an hour and a half, and my roomate is usually home when i’m not. Other than my classes, I am extremely present and try to be super flexible with Rover because it’s my only job right now.
