Pet care experience
I will provide exceptional care for your dog, as if he or she were my own. I love to run, hike and play fetch! Along with being a full-time animal lover I also have a job which is remote, so I am able to care for your dog all day. I also have experience volunteering with shelters in the area walking and caring for adoptable dogs. I recently worked at a local shelter that specializes in dogs with behavioral issues, so I have training in how to care for all types of dogs. I specifically worked with the dogs who are either unsafe for volunteers to handle or uncomfortable meeting lots of new people. I have had two dogs throughout my life. At the moment I have two guinea pigs and a cat who live with me but any interaction between species is carefully supervised, and mostly they stay separate. I can also provide grooming or any other necessary care. I would love to take care of your dog!

My dog is neither calm nor subtle in her enthusiasm for life and meeting new people, but Madeleine handled her so well and they seemed to get along great. She definitely loves animals. We would certainly have Kendall stay with her again (if she's up for the challenge!)
Jet loved staying with Maddy for a long weekend! I would recommend her to anyone needing someone to watch over their doggies.
Maddie is great with my pup! He can be very high energy but also very anxious and nervous, so he is a handful - but she is great with him! She’s super trustworthy and always excited to show my dog some love while I’m away :) I love knowing that I can rely on her to be a good and responsible dog sitter!

I leash walk dogs in my very safe neighborhood, minimal car traffic. Dogs are taken out to potty on a leash as well. I can bring dogs to the local dog park if your dog would enjoy that!

My cat is the queen of the house (naturally), so ideally any dog visitor would be respectful of her space. When we have dog visitors she stays upstairs with a baby gate.
A typical day
I will work to best suit the needs of your dog. If he or she is very active we can go on hikes, long walks and play! If your dog is older, or just a couch potato, I am happy to have a Netflix buddy. I live in a safe neighborhood with sidewalks, there is also a nearby lake and trail system.

Availability
I work full time at home with plenty of time for walk and potty breaks, and I love to have new furry coworkers. I'm an early riser and am able to provide potty breaks throughout the night as well.
