Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since being a freshman in college for local professors at the University of Michigan. I also foster retired greyhounds until they find their forever home, an incredibly rewarding process, which has given me lots of experience dealing with dogs new to me.
Reviews
Madeleine was great with our boys. We will definitely book her again.
My dog Kodi had an amazing time and was very well treated!
Very pleased with Madeleine. She did a great job taking care of our dog. We will use her again in the future.

The dogs in my care get 4-6 walks daily, including at least one long and tiring one so sleeping can be on the agenda! I have a two story house near a park perfect for walks. My home is not large, though I do have plenty of space for one visitor at a time. If you would prefer for your pet to stay at your home, I am happy to accommodate this as well, and discuss the specific and individual needs of each pet with their humans!

Information Madeleine A. would like to know about your pet
It is always important to know about a dog's past history with socialization and interactions with other dogs. I also inquire about a dog's experience with walking on a leash, and their history with toys, treats, and food (especially guarding behavior). This is all for information for a successful experience, no matter a dog's past history!
A typical day
My main focus is engaging dogs so that they are mentally stimulated, and working off energy for when their humans come home! Playing fetch, using puzzle games, and socialization time when appropriate are all activities I enjoy using!

Availability
Being a teacher often means my schedule is different than the typical 9-5, giving me the ability to play with your pets earlier than most full-time individuals are!
