Big dog owner & WFH walking freak!!
Pet care experience
I would love to learn about your pup and see if this is a good fit! I am a runner, and have lots of experience adding a doggo to the run club, but I’m also happy to have eye contact and scritches be our only activity, too. I’ve dog-sat for friends, neighbors, and family since I was ten years old, even before I had my own pups! I have taken care of grouchy senior Shitzus all the way up to nervous Great Danes. I am communicative and intuitive and this is a fun hobby for me. I work from home and have flexible schedule. I can accommodate most priorities with enough notice. I am an early riser and have never had a problem making sure my furry friends were worn out and comfy for a peaceful bedtime. I LOVE to go on walks and runs as your dog’s disposition allows! I have two older large dogs, Atticus (yellow lab) and Lulu (boxer), who are mellow and have only moderate activity levels. Lulu loves to play if your pup wants a wrestling or tug of war buddy, but she’s naturally a big napper, so if your dog needs space to chill that always works out great too. I have a fenced-in yard and a guest room for crates or dogs that need some alone time, but my go-to is to spend lots of time together, so my house is dog-comfy to the max.

Maddy was so great with Nnamdi when I went out of town. She went above and beyond for him and took him on walks just to make sure he was comfortable! It was so nice knowing he was in such great hands while I was away. Definitely will book again in the future!

A typical day
I just like to enjoy them: get some cuddles in the morning, go on a long walk first thing, and try to play in the backyard or encourage playing between Lulu and your doggo (Atticus is too old to play.) I like to work after walks and runs, taking two or so breaks to let dogs out and shake out any restlessness with some fetch or tug-o-war or chase, then a walk at the end of the day. Depending on the energy needs of the doggo, we might try a long walk or a run to get worn out for the evening. I like to sleep in the same room as my pups, but if a visiting dog needs their own space at night, I like to play and chill out in their sleeping space for a little while before the night ends.
