Maddy Thompson is my cousin. Relations aside, we have both grown up with the unconditional love and influence of four legged family members. Maddy is a genuine, smart, flexible, easy going, and trustworthy care taker. Her abilities go far beyond making sure your fur baby is comfortable while you're away. She's fully capable of taking care of your home as well as any extra needs that may come about during her stay. I myself, have been a Rover sitter going on 3 years now. Id like to think that I know the ins and outs of what it takes to make a client feel confident and at ease while allowing a stranger to enter their residence. I can whole heartedly say that Maddy Thompson has all those same instincts and then some. I would strongly recommend giving her a chance to sit for you! She is awesome.

My name is Lara, and I am one of Maddy's college roommates and co-workers. She and I have lived together for 3 years and worked together for 2. She is outgoing, responsible, timely, and reliable. We both work for OU Student Recruitment Services, and serve as the first contact for prospective students interested in the University of Oklahoma. Similar to the way Maddy makes these students and parents feel comfortable, and goes out of her way assuage their fears about heading off to college- I believe that she would excel in a similar capacity as she helps dog owners feel secure and confident in their decision to hire her to watch their beloved pets. I know Maddy has cats and dogs back at home in Dallas, but we don't have any pets at our home in Norman- and I know she misses the constant animal interactions. She asks me everyday if we can get a puppy!! While our lease prevents us from having full-time pets, she has to settle with the infrequent visits of our other roommate's chiweenie, Hunny. When Hunny comes to town, Maddy is always one of the first to volunteer to help walk and feed her- despite the time Hunny peed on her before her morning potty outing!! In sum, I am confident that Maddy will excel in her partnership with Rover and will be one of the most requested sitters in all of Norman/OKC!!!
