Pet care experience
Hello fellow Animal Lovers, My name is Maddy K. I am a 20-years-old, and I am looking to make your life easier one walk/dog-sit at a time. Currently, I am majoring in Journalism and minoring in psychology at Carleton University. The reason I have decided to seek employment through Rover is because after I moved away from my pet riddled home to attend University I started to desperately miss the company of animals. Through this job I want to fill the agonizing void of being pet-less, while simultaneously simplifying the lives of busy pet owners, like yourself. I do not have any professional pet experience per se, but throughout my life I have grown up with an array of animals (mostly dogs and cats). Currently, my family owns three dogs (an Australian Shepard, Westie, and Morkie) and a cat. In addition, since my adolescence I have dog-sitted and consistently walked several of my family members pets. I have also volunteered at the Peterborough Humane Society on various occasions. Furthermore, I am extremely agile and physically fit which, will make sure that your pet receives the care they deserve. Maddy was incredible. When looking for a place for our dog, boarding places were going to cost $100. This is when we found Rover! We were worried leaving our Simba with someone we didn't know, but we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maddy was awesome, super caring, and connected well with Simba. Any worries that you have should disappear. We will be using Maddy anytime we need a dog sitter!
Maddy has has grown up with cats and dogs and their safety is her utmost concern as they are part of her family. I would trust Maddy with any animal she is kind , responsible and loving. Brixton my 1 year old Australian Shepherd goes crazy when he sees Maddy, when I take him home he is calm and well rested and is tired out from a long day. She makes sure he practices his tricks and moves forward with his training while also watching over other dogs. He needs a lot of exercise and a walk is taken everyday even in the rain which she then washes the dirt off so I do not need to worry about dirt in my house. Highly recommended
Maddy is a responsible young woman who has spent considerable time with my 3 Bichon frises. She is loving and kind and able to handle all that comes with taking care of 3 small dogs. She is dependable and a really great person.
