Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since a very young age. Growing up my family always had dogs, and now I have one of my own. Adopting Charles was the best decision I’ve ever made! Friends, neighbors, and strangers have all trusted me to care for their pets in various capacities, ranging from visits for playtime and potty to extended boarding. I am very fond of dogs, have worked with many different breeds, and will make sure your dog has a great time if you hire me for care.

Maddy is a tremendous help! Our dog Roscoe doesn’t always trust folks. He is a grumpy old man. Naturally we were hesitant to leave this old boy to another human but Maddy quickly alleviated our concerns. If our old grumpy Roscoe boy trusts maddy you should to!

I have a safe and secure fenced in backyard which is great for play! I can accommodate your dog inside in a clean and comfortable environment. I have a dog of my own (an extremely friendly and submissive lab mix named Charles) and a Chihuahua living with me (she stays with her senior owner separate from my dog most of the time, but tolerates my dog well when/if they interact.) I have a very laid-back cat who gets along great with my dog, and will either get along with yours or just remain aloof. I live with my boyfriend (loves dogs) and his two elderly parents who we are caring for in their advanced years (they also love dogs!)

A typical day
A typical day involves lots of snuggles, a long walk - likely on the Trolley Trail - plenty of playtime in the back yard with my dog or solo if your dog prefers. I follow instructions explicitly and always work to tailor the playtime or stay to your pet’s individual needs or preferences… always happy to accommodate specific requests or notes.
