Pet care experience
I am a life long dog lover living in DC with my 2-year old Corgi named Lincoln. I recently started my own small business and am working from home full-time. Lincoln would love a playmate to play and nap with while I am working. Lincoln is a sweet, calm boy who loves other dogs. I have about 15 years of pet sitting experience with dogs large and small.

Maddison is excellent with my Silky Terrier (CC). CC is always excited to see Maddison, and I feel confident CC is well cared for when she is with Maddison. I highly recommend Maddison as a kind and careful dog sitter. You can't go wrong using her as your Rover dog sitter!
Maddison was a fantastic companion and friend for my Shetland Sheepdog, Cody. Leaving a pet for travel is never easy buy Maddison made it easy because Cody loves and trusts her. Cody was always properly and safely exercised, fed and hydrated. Maddison comes from an animal loving family and knows better than anyone how to administer proper care and love.

I have a single family home with a fenced in front and back yard. I let pups run around the yard when it’s nice out, and also take them on walks or to parks in the neighborhood.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs to be accounted for. While dogs of all sizes and personalities are welcome, it is important that your is 100% potty trained, crate trained, and not a barker as I have conference calls throughout the day. High energy breeds, or dogs that need more than one long walk a day might not be a great match. Most importantly, your dog must get along with my Corgi Lincoln :)
A typical day
We have a plethora of toys and bones that Lincoln is happy to share with playful pups. He enjoys tug of war, fetch, and his treat ball. For low energy pups, or pups that need some alone time throughout the day, we have rooms that the dogs can rest separately. Lincoln is crate trained and typically likes to spend a few hours catching a nap in his crate throughout the day.

Availability
I currently work full-time out of the house. My typical routine is to take a morning and late afternoon potty break, with a walk during lunchtime around Meridian Hill park. Our walking schedule changes depending on the weather- if it’s hot we sometimes keep things short. Overnight/ weekend pups may enjoy an occasional hike with us at Rock Creek Park.
