I have a small dog back home, she’s a yorkie named Peanut weighing in at around 8 lbs. Because of this, I know a lot about what it takes to gain the trust of small dogs. Peanut was a rescue dog, and she’s taught me how to be patient with those who need a little extra time to warm up to someone new. When I was younger I taught my aunt’s labs many tricks and walked them often, but the largest dog I’ve ever taken care of was a Great Dane who probably weighed more than I do. There is truly not a breed of dog I am hesitant about. If you’re looking for someone to love up on your dog and help them learn tricks or become more social with other dogs, I think I would be perfect!
