I've been lucky enough to have grown up around all different kinds of animals, but dogs have always been a main part of my life. I just moved back home from college (I'm a recent Animal Science graduate from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo), and I help my parents take care of our Shih Tzu, German Shepherd, and Great Pyrenees, so I have experience caring for both small and very large dogs. I regularly dog sit (and cat/small animal sit) for family and friends, I was the manager of the Cal Poly Cat Shelter during my senior year of college, and I walked and trained dogs at Animal Services in San Luis Obispo at least twice a week for two years. I have been trained in safe animal handling and restraint, as well as in some behavior training methods. While at the shelter I handled all different breeds, sizes, and tempers of pups.
