Had a diabetic dog for 12yrs
Pet care experience
I raised 3 puppies as well as potty trained them as soon as I was old enough and responsible enough to. My dog was diagnosed as diabetic when she was about 8 or 9 and we had to poke her twice a day with insulin. My other dog was very spoiled especially after the diabetic one passed away. We make sure to love her as much as we can considering her being 16. I love animals and I'm definitely the type of person to stop on the street just to pet a dog or cat.

I am living at home for the summer, I have a lot of grass area to walk/play. I also have a car to take anywhere, whether its the dog park or on a car ride! I love when animals sleep in my bed to cuddle but If the pet is crate trained then it doesn't matter to me! We would typically feed my dogs twice a day since one needed her insulin twice a day but we reduced it to once a day since our little diabetic passed away.

I have no preference of breeds, I love all animals! If there's any schedules or anything to go by you can just leave a list on a piece of paper and I'm more than happy to abide by it!
A typical day
I also have a car so I am able to drive to and from places. If your pet has any special needs just let me know and I'm more than willing to put in the extra work to help out! My dog was diabetic so I know what it's like.

I am a student at the University of Idaho but I am available a lot during the week and the weekend. I am applying for a job but i'll be able to update my availability and to work around whatever is needed.
