While I don't remember exactly when my first pet sitting job was, I've been pet sitting basically my entire life. I rescued my best friend, Ava, in May 2012 and have been branded as THE dog girl ever since. I trained her completely on my own as a high schooler and she is known by everyone who meets her as the perfect dog, truly! Because of that, everyone I'm friends with who gets a dog always comes to me first. I've lived with as many as 4 dogs at a time, and I love cats as well! Although I never had a cat because both of my parents are allergic. I have helped more than 5 of my friends in the last couple of years raise and train their puppies and also raised a puppy with my boyfriend in 2017 who has flourished into another perfect specimen! I truly LOVE dogs, taking pictures of dogs, petting and cuddling dogs, walking dogs, you name it. I just want them to be happy and it's truly my passion.

Maddie is the biggest dog lover I know. She is constantly looking for ways to better her own dogs life to help cater to her arthritis, funny eating habits, and fear of thunder storms. Aside from her own dog, Maddie loves to meet and socialize w other dogs. She always does so by letting the dog get to know her first (usually with a bone) and respecting its boundaries, and within minutes Maddie will have a dog roll over on its back for belly rubs. I’ve never seen someone who loves dogs more than Maddie
Maddie is known as the “dog whisperer” for many. Dogs are magnetic to her, and she knows how to love them unconditionally while providing structure and correction where needed. Maddie treats dogs with the utmost care... truly like her children. She typically has 2-3 dogs in her house or under her watch at all times. Not to mention, she is knows for her expert dog photography and has been known to start Instagram pages for her pups. She is known so much as a dog person that her law professor even let her bring her dog to class and featured her in the student’s end of year final! You will be so pleased with Maddie as your dog’s caretaker.
Maddie is the biggest dog lover I know! She becomes an aunt and god mom to every dog in her life. She is responsible, trustworthy, and loyal. Most importantly, she has a huge heart for dogs and will take good care of your fur baby. I would recommend her to anyone I know!
Maddie’s own dog, Ava, is treated like a queen—endless belly scratches, long walks, tennis balls thrown in the backyard, furry dog beds, and delicious treats. Sometimes I’m even jealous of Ava’s life. I would trust Maddie with my own dogs any day of the week because she treats them just as well as she treats Ava. Maddie is responsible, honest, and a people-person as much as she’s a dog-person! 11/10 recommend!

I live in a safe neighborhood where I can walk dogs, but I will most likely just walk the dogs around wherever you live! I love long walks, I have a fenced yard and live right by the IAMS dog park, the most popular dog park in Fayetteville. I have one roommate who loves dogs, and I have one dog. My dog loves cats and other dogs, but she is older (8.5 years old) and is not super playful anymore, so she mostly just likes to relax. She is happy with other dogs around as long as her space is respected and she isn't tackled and jumped all over. I also frequently keep my parents' dog, a spunky three-year-old mini Australian Shepherd named Shiloh. She is much more playful and loves to bounce around with other dogs. Both of them can be kept at my parents house when necessary, though!

I have no breed preferences. I love all dogs big, small, old, and young! I would just like to know if the dog has any aggressive behaviors with new humans or other dogs and what the owners preferences are on schedule (eating schedule, walking schedule, etc.) and any other idiosyncrasies! I also would like to know if the owner allows their dog to have treats, bites of human food, etc. because I like to bring doggy friends little treats now and then.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks in new places or just around my neighborhood. I like to take my dogs hiking, swimming, and to new trails around the area. I am happy to take dogs to the dog park near my house if they enjoy playing with other dogs or setting up a play date with one of my many friends with dogs.

Availability
My schedule is extremely flexible! I'm a law student, and currently my only time-specific obligations are Mondays from 10:30-12:30 and 3:00-4:15 and then Wednesdays from 3:00-4:15. Otherwise, I'm very flexible as I'm doing school exclusively from home and am in town almost every weekend. I would be fine with random one time visit or an on-going set schedule, whatever the need may be!
