Dog-Loving Teacher On Summer Break!
Pet care experience
I am a second grade teacher living in South Charlotte with the summer off. Because of this, I am available to work throughout the day, 7 days a week and am free to do walks, drop-ins, or overnight boarding. I have had, cared for, and loved dogs my entire life. I have a dog of my own who spends most of his time at my parents' house but comes to visit often. In addition to caring for my own dog, Fitz, I have dog-sat for family and neighbors as well. Also, my roommate has worked with Rover in the past and I have had great experiences with the dogs that have stayed with us. Because of this, I wanted to give it a try! I hope to meet you and your pup soon!

Maddie was great! Hus reported that he had an amazing time during his stay full of Frisbee and walks. Location is super convenient, and Maddie was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Will definitely be back!
Maddie was very responsive from the beginning and even shared some outstanding pictures of Rosie. She made leaving Rosie behind easy, painless and comfortable. We will definitely be looking to Maddie for future stays.

Maddie was wonderful! She took great care Prince and kept me updated and sent pictures of him!! She took him on walks and made sure he felt at home! Especially since it was my fiancé and I first time using rover! We will definately use her again for any other trips we have planned!!

I love all dogs and have no allergies so all breeds are welcome! I would like to know about the dog's house training, medications, and social appetite (what activities they most enjoy--walking, breweries, White Water Center, etc.).
A typical day
My apartment is very close to the Sugar Creek Greenway and Freedom Park so walks are a definite when dogs are visiting! Living in the South Park area, I am also close to dog-friendly restaurants and breweries, so, if your dog enjoys social outings, I'd love to bring him or her along!
