Pet care experience
*Prices negotiable* ask for personal rates! I am a 27 y.o loving and cautious dog-mom. I have experience caring for many dog breeds from Yorkies to Great Danes - as well as newborn kittens, cats, lizards, horses, and hamsters! I have experience caring for puppies, dogs with PICA, severe allergies, and separation anxiety. I believe in positive reinforcement/training techniques. I live in puppy-proofed space with my Chihuahua in the Golden Triangle, steps away from the fantastic walking paths along the canal. My apartment is set up with A/C, low couch and bed, dog beds, rugs for traction when playing, and toys! My dog is up to date on vaccinations and heartworm/flea/tick medication at all times. I know how nerve wracking it can be to trust someone else with your animals, and I can assure you they will be in great hands given my protective nature, attention to detail and experience caring for pets of all kinds. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

Maddie is amazing! Her ability to do multi hour drop ins is perfect for my new puppy. She is fantastic with my dogs, is extremely trustworthy and responsive, and sends me lots of updates and pictures. Her help with crate training has been amazing and has made the new puppy transition much easier.
Maddie is great! Her ability to come for several hours during the day is perfect for my new puppy as he is not yet fully vaccinated. She sends updates every day, is responsive, and as a bonus is even working on crate training with our puppy! Highly recommend :)

I have a puppy proofed apartment with 2 fold out iron playpen gates to use if needed, low couch, padded tiles on the floor for traction and safe playing, toys and a little chihuahua to keep your baby company!

Since I do have a dog, please let me know if any behaviour/social/aggression issues ahead of time so I can make sure to accommodate. Please be prepared to show proof of DHPP and Rabies vaccine if interested in daycare or overnight stay in our home :)
A typical day
I believe it is important to bring dogs out for different walks during the day including sniff walks, focused walks for exercise and of course regular potty breaks. I live in a great area with a small side lawn, and many beautiful multi-use trails along the canal. I also live a short walk from Jack Purcell dog park if that is something your pup is comfortable with.

Availability
I am currently working part time (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1-9pm) so I have plenty of availability throughout the week and weekend for pet-sitting or dog walking!
