Pet care experience
I previously worked in-home elderly care for Guardian Angels in Lincoln, have had pets ranging from birds to bunnies to cats to hermit crabs my entire life, and am a hiking-biking-poet.

My 9 yr old Havanese is in love with Maddie. Maddie & Ziggy have been walking together for 3 weeks now. She is very attentive to his needs & knows his commands. She also know he likes to avoid big dogs😅. Maddie is a great person and I am so grateful she is a big part of Ziggy’s routine. ( she has also stayed at the house with him). I highly recommend and trust Maddie.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am familiar with visiting people's homes for another in-home care job; I am most familiar with having a fenced in space for dogs to run around in; I've had my own cats and volunteered at the Lincoln Cat House for almost 2 years, so I'm experienced at cat care, companionship, cleaning, etc.; I know how to care for various types of animals, including hermit crabs and fish and birds.
Information Maddie K. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know if they're a licker/jump up on you, just so I can be prepared. If a dog has a friend in the neighborhood, I'd also like to know so we can stop and say hi, since I once dog sat and didn't know how two dogs would interact before realizing long after that they were besties!
A typical day
I enjoy going on both fast and slow paced walks around the neighborhood, depending on how much exploration time is needed! I'll play with any favorite toys and of course offer pets.
