Pet care experience
Animals are my one true love. I have been dog sitting as long as I can remember. I have recently moved to Overland Park and I am looking for new clients to help out with dog sitting. I have one dog at home, and worked as a kennel worker at a veterinary clinic for two years, where my sole task was to care for dogs in day care and boarding over night. I just finished my second year of pharmacy school at UMKC, and am looking for a job I can make some extra money at while getting to meet new dogs. I look forward to working with you and your dog and giving them all the love and attention they deserve when you are gone!

Maddie is my dogs best friend!! Whenever we were out of town I never worried about our dog Rein because Maddie was her favorite person. I knew all of Reins needs would be met and then some. I was always confident that if there was ever a health concern while we were gone that Maddie would be on top of it. I highly recommend Maddie as the best dog sitter we ever had!!! She even dog sat for us with our 2 grandogs joining Rein and all was great!!
Maddie has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl. She loves animals and especially dogs. Maddie is a very responsible girl and a great student. She studies biology and chemistry in Birmingham, Alabama and hopes to go to veterinarian school after she gets her undergraduate degree. She is earning money to pay for college by doing her favorite job in the world- dog sitting!!

I have recently adopted a dog from KC pet project and she is loving it in my new home! I also have experience caring for our family dog for many years before she passed. Along with my lovable boxer/pitbull mix I have at home, I also have a pet rabbit that I have loved and cared for for almost 5 years now.
Information Maddie H. would like to know about your pet
I just need clear and specific instructions on how to care for the dog before I care for him or her. I have experience caring for all breeds and do not have a preference.
A typical day
I will walk dogs, take them to dog parks or national parks around town, give them treats, or whatever specific activity the dog needs. I live by Young's Park and Shawnee Mission Park, and would love to take your dog there or another park of your choice!

I am currently working another job prn, so I will likely be able to fit you into my schedule! Other than a few vacations I'm going on and my other job responsibilities, I am available all day, preferably in the mornings and early afternoons, during the week!
