Dogs make my world go 'round!
Pet care experience
Few things in life bring my husband, Sam, and I as much joy as do dogs. We have a 2 year old rescue pup, Nora (who is the queen of our castle) who absolutely loves every dog she meets. We know the importance of regular exercise and frequent potty breaks, and would be sure to spoil your pup with treats, snuggles, and a warm bed - likely ours (we bought a king size bed for a reason!). Sam and I both work from home so can easily accommodate dogs' varying exercise and attention needs. We work east coast hours so welcome early risers, and our work days wrap by 3pm local time which leaves lots of time to play with our pups. We have a large fenced-in yard where Nora and her friends spend much of their time. We live 5 blocks from Alberta park (which also has an enclosed dog park) in an extremely dog-friendly neighborhood and would be so happy to watch your pup whenever we can!

Maddie was so wonderful taking care of my dog! Ivy can be skittish and finicky but she just LOVES Maddie! I was so glad to get regular updates and photos while I was gone too. I will definitely book again with Maddie and highly recommend her!
Maddie was wonderful! I would give her more than 5 stars if it was possible. She took care of my Arnie on our first trip away from him. She sent me pictures multiple times a day and stuck to the rules that we have for him. Unfortunately, Arnie wasn't the perfect guess as he did get sick during his stay with Maddie. She sent constant updates if anything changed and was so understanding about his tummy problems/seperation anxiety.
Maddie is the definition of a perfect Rover sitter. She was super flexible with our drop off time and sent us numerous updates (with photos of course) of Toby's stay. She lives near the park and took Toby several times to help wear him out. Toby is a natural cuddler and he received lots of snuggle time and tummy rubs, what more could we ask for? We highly recommend her to anyone that needs a sitter for their furry pup.
Maddie is one of the kindest, most loving and responsible individuals I know. She is great with animals and has been a wonderful host for my dog, Cashmere, on several occasions. I would recommend Maddie as a dog sitter to anyone-- your pup is safe with her!

As dog owners ourselves, we know it can be tough on you and your pup to separate. Please let us know what we can do to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible. Whether its more time in their crate, a cozy spot on the couch, or a favorite game to play, we will do whatever we can to ensure your dog feels at home while you are away (and will of course send you pictures of a happy pup along the way!)
A typical day
Sam and I love to play with dogs in whatever ways works best for them. We live 5 blocks away from Alberta park, but if your pup prefers longer walks and less action, we have a lovely 3-mile roundtrip route around our neighborhood. If your dog is a runner - great! So is Sam. If city life is intimidating to your pup, they can get their energy out with some ball play in our yard.
