Pet care experience
I'm Maddie! I lived in Chelsea, MA all my life but I'm usually always around the Boston area due to school, creating artworks, and trying out the best food. I just graduated from my college so now I’m a professional illustrator! However I will still have time to look after your furry friends! I want to improve my care for dogs and or cats to have a better understanding of their health, behavior, temperaments, and overall how I can solve solutions better and quicker on time. Also to look after your home as if it were mine by keeping it spotless and tidy up! I hope to meet you all and create a great bond with your pet! Summertime is the usual good time for meeting new friends and to be open on preferences! Including the holidays! However, since campuses are opening back up, I will still love to work depending on my schedule. However, my awesome boyfriend is willing to help me out with anything like walking dogs or just look after your cat just to make sure I’m on task with work and personal stuff. Regarding any instructions given to me, I will absolutely do (such as watering plants, administrating medicine, taking in mail, etc!) Just let me know before I start the booking! Also, I will treat your privacy with respect and treat it as it if we’re my home (cleaning, organizing, etc!)

I lived in Boston for one year and my job required me to travel almost once per month. Maddie was always super accommodating, even with last-minute requests. She was trustworthy and reliable. She provided daily updates and pictures. I would not hesitate to rebook with Maddie for any pet-sitting needs!
Maddie is so wonderful! She took care of our 20-year-old kitty more times than I can count, giving him oral medication twice daily. We were always at ease when out of town, knowing that Maddie was taking such great care of our little old man. He has since passed, and we've adopted two more kittens she has also started caring for when we are out of town. Maddie always goes above and beyond with our care instructions, and we always come home to healthy and happy kitties. Maddie is an excellent pet caretaker, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for the best level of care for their animals.

Whatever directions are given to me, I will follow! such as privacy of your home or knowing where are the most important things like for your pets such as food, water, beds, etc. But I do have instincts always up and ready to go whenever I look after dogs or cats. Meaning I will contact clients if there's a slight issue that seems concerning to me but it's better to ask instead of waiting! However most of the time I'll make sure to check up on them if it gets too quiet at home and of course, make sure the home is locked and secured from any escapes or intruders!

All breeds welcome! However, I prefer to look after neutered and spayed pets! I would love to know if your dog does have any behavioral stuff like tugging on leash or excessive barking and more, some of these things I may not work well with due to bad experiences in the past. (And I’m 5’1’’!) so any honesty about your fur friend is really comforting and I’ll know who I’m looking after! Also would want to know if they do take any medicine or have any health-related issues, I do want to make sure I have full care of them just in case and learn better over the next months and years working with Rover :)
A typical day
Walks are my favorite thing to do with dogs! I would definitely walk around Boston, like the Commons, Public Garden, anywhere that's pet-friendly. Maybe stop by for some coffee, buy some treats if I'm allowed to (like a pup cup from Starbucks)! Also if not around Boston, I'm up for long walks around the neighborhood to get some exercise, beneficial for the dog and me!
