Pet care experience
My dog experience ranges from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I’ve had house-sitting gigs where I live in the house and where I come and go to feed/walk/etc. My cat experience ranges from curious kittens to relaxed adults. I’ve been a house sitter for time frames from one week to two months. I love walking dogs and enjoy training; a walk is a thousand times more enjoyable for both parties when pup stays by your side. I prefer a fixed leash (but will of course use whatever you prefer). I’ve cared for animals with special diets and feeding schedules. My own dog had a variety of medical issues, so I believe I have a keen ability to stay calm under pressure. Your pet is a loved member of your family. Allow me to provide the care they deserve.

I look forward to hanging out with your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I'll spend the night at your house! I do work outside of the home, but your pets will not be left alone for more than 5-6 hours at a time. I can also bring in your mail and packages, water your plants, wheel out the trash, etc. Before I confirm a housesitting stay, we'll schedule a meet & greet where I meet you and your pets and talk over instructions with you, including entry (keys, codes, etc.) and where I'll be sleeping!

I’d love to know how your dog behaves on a leash. Are they reactive to people? other dogs? Do they pull/bark/sniff everything in sight? I always prefer to do a meet and greet first, but if that’s not possible, I’d like to start the stay before you leave so that your dog(s) can warm up to me as a friend! I need to know your dog’s routine (meals, potty breaks, walks) and if they’re on any medications. Feel free to leave out a dog brush! I’d love to give your pup a good brushing :-)
A typical day
Depending on your wants and needs, I love to provide both physical and mental stimulation for dogs! We can have fun on a walk smelling all the smells, but we can also have a great time learning a new skill or trick!

Availability
I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of time to play with your pups! I love a good long walk either in the morning or at the end of the day. I prefer shorter stays (4 nights max) but for the right family and for repeat clients, I’m open to longer ones.
