Pet care experience
Hi there! Im Maddie, ive had quite a bit of experience caring for dogs and other animals. I took 2 years worth of Veterinary Medicine classes as well as working in a large scale boarding kennel called Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch throughout high school. In addition to professional care, i also have been dog sitting for about 3 years. My love for dogs and other animals greatly outweighs almost everything else in my life so your furry loved ones will be very well taken care of! I currently work Tuesday through Friday 10 to 4:30pm and Saturday 12-5pm. That being said, I am looking for a position as a kennel tech in a veterinary clinic so my schedule will eventually change. In addition to a schedule change, I am enrolled in Pima Medical Institute for the Veterinary Assistant Program and will begin on August 19th with classes being from 5:50pm to 10pm. Although that sounds like quite a bit, I do my best to be home and provide to most quality time i possibly can to your furry babies!

I have known Maddie for over three years. While I lived in Houston , I often traveled and needed a reliable sitter for my dog. Maddie was always an easy and trustworthy choice. She has a huge heart for animals and it shows for the care she takes of people’s pets. I always came home to an orderly house with a happy healthy pup. What else could a pet owner ask for!?

Maddie has an insane amount of love for all animals. I’ve never seen someone more gentle and caring towards animals, and you can tell it’s her passion. There have been many times where she has watched my own pets (4 dogs, hamsters, and an aquarium of fish), and I knew they were in the most responsible care. She’s currently wanting to become a vet tech, and I’m extremely excited for her because so many animals will be nurtured and loved by her. Anyone’s pets will feel loved, special, and most importantly be safe in Maddie’s supervision.

Information Maddie G. would like to know about your pet
I love dogs from big to small and puppy to senior! All dogs have their own personalities so any other information you could provide about them would be greatly appreciated! Being that I do have a cat, I would just like to know if your little guys are ok around cats! I would never want either your pets or mine to feel stressed and uncomfortable.
A typical day
I live in studio apartment with my cat, BB8, in a quiet neighborhood in the heights. My apartment is on the smaller side without access to a yard so it is not ideal for boarding if you have a large, active dog and unfortunately I can only board them for 3 days as i would have to request special permission from my landlord for anything longer. My neighborhood is great for walks and I just live around the corner from my sister and her two dogs who are perfect for a little play date (i've listed them as my pets for a bit more information), but only if you feel comfortable with that of course! I'd also be more than happy to take your little companions out to their favorite parks and trails!
