Hi, I'm Maddie! I'm an animal lover with experience caring for all kinds of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, small rodents, chickens, even snakes! Although I am most experienced with medium- and small-sized dogs, I love pets of all shapes and sizes. And anything I don't know yet, I'm happy to learn! I am willing to work with any accomodations your pet may need, such as administering medication or working with a disability. And I love long walks to pacify even the most energetic dogs! I'm excited to meet you and give your pet the unique care they need while you're away.

Before and after walks, I am sure to follow any additional steps clients might ask for - putting a collar or vest on your dog, washing their paws off, filling their water or food bowl, taking them in or out of their kennel, etc. During stays at your house I am always conscientious of your privacy and safety. I'm a double-checker of locks and windows!

I have no breed preference, but it's definitely something helpful to know beforehand. Please also let me know if your dog has any medical conditions or behavioral quirks. I always meet in person before a sitting, where we can talk specifics of your pets' routine. Examples of what I will ask include when they eat; when, where, and how long they go outside or on walks; where they are allowed in the house; what kind of commands they know, and where their supplies are. It's also helpful to know any habits to look out for, such as escape artistry or trash can raiding.
A typical day
I love long neighborhood walks with dogs. I am always alert and take precautions to keep your dog safe while we are out! I'm also an old pro at fetch and tug.
