Pet care experience
I've lived in a home with animals since I was born and started taking care of them early, now having more than 10 years of pet care experience. I've cared for the dogs, cats, fish and plants of many friends and family members and even have experience taking care of horses, as I have two of my own. I also grew up in 4-H which exposed me to working with livestock such as chickens, sheep, goats and cows. With this, I'm accustomed to feeding, grooming, walking, bathing, cleaning up after and administering (certain) medication to a variety of animals. Friends and family have relied on me for this kind of work for years and have even referred me to their friends.

We had Maddi help take care of the critters for two households while we were on a week long vacation out of state. She was communicative and attentive to our needs and even sent us pictures of our elusive cat just to let us know everything was going ok. 10/10 would recommend and use again
Maddi was a wonderful dog (and home sitter). She was conscientious, took great care of our dog, communicated well, followed the instructions we gave her regarding our dog. Maddi also left the house just as she found it. I'd ask her to come back any time we need to be away.

It is of upmost importance to me to respect a client's space while caring for their fur baby. I make it a point to follow all 'rules' of the household and can take care of the home as well of the animals that live in it. I am happy to follow kenneling/crating procedures, let dogs out on or off leash, clean up after cats and indoor accidents and do what I can to make every pet feel comfortable and at home, whether that means going on lots of walks or showering them with smooches.

The information that is most important for me, as a sitter, to know ahead of time is the information you think I should know. As their owner, you know your pets and their needs the best - I am here to best serve them and want to make sure both pets and owners feel as comfortable as they can during the sit. Knowing about typical daily routines, if any medications are needed, and how much daily exercise a pup needs beforehand is always a plus. But, of course, I'd love to know any/everything you can tell me to make sure I am as informed as possible and can show your pet the most love and care while I'm with them.
A typical day
Something to know about me is that I LOVE the outdoors! So, while I'm traveling it is my hope to get out and explore the area, whether this means local parks and walking paths or even state and national parks (I really hope to get to a few of these when I can). With this in mind, I'd love to have your fur baby as an adventure partner going on some nice hikes/walks as I get to know the nearby environment. But, as much as I like getting out and about, I also plan on working remotely so am also down to spend some chill time at home involving lots of cuddles and relaxing.

Availability
While I am currently at home for the winter, I am gearing up to travel and care for pets across the country! I am utilizing house sitting as a way to explore new parts of the country, and by booking with me you are helping me get one step closer to accomplishing this! With this in mind, pet care is my number one priority. My availability is set around the bookings I receive so while I hope to get out and explore the area(s) where I'm located, leaving the middle of the day a little more booked, your pet is the reason for me being there and their needs come first.
