Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs for the last 10 years and house sat/puppy sat dogs and trained dogs since I was 10 years old. We have had numerous pets growing up including; guinea pigs, bunnies, a turtle, cats and dogs whom all lived long happy lives. I currently have an 11 month old puppy myself whom is still in training to be a medical office dog and support animal. I am an animal chiropractor who specializes in larger breed dogs as well as horses, but work with all breeds and all sizes as well as cats.

Maddi was so great and communicative when she watched our dog Piper. She’s a natural around dogs and we could tell our pup was well taken care of. We will definitely look to use Maddi as a pet sitter again.

I currently have an 800 sqft pet friendly office with a very walkable neighborhood with a great dog park near by as well as two fenced in parks with great grass areas to run and play.
Information Maddi H. would like to know about your pet
I want to know their temperaments, what type of training style is used at home and if you would be open to having play dates with my pup or partner walks. I would also like to know what food and water restrictions apply. Can a dog drink at a public water fountain or do they need their own bowl? Any allergies to treats a dog may have? Or any pre-existing injuries that may pop up again if they are running or playing for any more than a half hour. I don’t have any breed preferences.
A typical day
I would take them on walks or jogs around the neighborhood and find a park to play fetch or frisbee if possible. I have been taking my pup to the dog park as well but have had a few bad experiences with other dogs, so would prefer for him to have a steady playmate to run or walk and play with.

Availability
I currently work in my office Monday through Saturday from 9-6pm but take Daily lunch breaks from 1-3 pm, which is when I take my pup out as well. I also work In Los Altos on Saturdays and select weekdays with another animal chiropractor. My mornings and evenings are pretty readily available for walks and runs as well.
