Pet care experience
I have been working for dog daycare/boarding/grooming facilities for the last 5 years. This includes time working with cats and exotic pets, as well as a year and a half as an assistant manager, and I've loved every minute of it! I have one dog of my own, and I have had dogs in the family all of my life. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology, and also have experience working in a zoo. Working with dogs has given me so many great learning experiences and I've developed a strong intuition on understanding dogs. Working in a low stress, Fear Free Certified facility with an attached vet clinic, I've increased my knowledge on different medicines and medical procedures, as well as learned to identify signs that a pet may be in distress. My intention is for Rover to be my primary source of income (and happiness) so I will have fairly open availability and flexibility to meet customer needs and the needs of your furry friends! I'm new, so give me a try!! Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Madalyn is an extraordinary human being. She not only treats humans with the utmost love, care and compassion, but easily finds it in her heart to treat animals with the same character. I often admire her ability to take any dog we come across, make it her friend, and connect with the dog owner. I would highly recommend Madalyn to look after your dog, as her biggest passion in life is caring for animals.
I’ve trusted Madalyn with my dog since day 1. She is so patient and kind with my dogs. One of my dogs suffers from separation anxiety and I knew that Madalyn would be able to provide the support he needed while I was away. That same dog has some health issues and Madalyn was experienced in giving medications and provided that care for my dog. She also has been a great dog walker and understands my weird over protective dog mom habits. She always listens to my concerns. On the other end she is able to keep up with my puppy and all of her puppy energy. Madalyn again was very caring and attentive to my puppy and the instructions I wanted her to follow to keep my puppy on schedule. She is one of the most dependable individuals I have had the pleasure of taking care of my dogs.
Maddy is a sweetheart! She has always had the biggest heart for any and all animals. Since she was old enough to ride her bike to the humane society she has been volunteering there until after college when she started working with dogs at a daycare facility. Maddy goes above and beyond for her love of dogs and has always been a dream to work with.
I’ve known Madalyn her entire life and have witnessed her kindness and compassion for animals of all kinds throughout all of it. From daily bike rides to the Humane Society as a kid, to her Animal Science/Zoology studies in college, she has always had a desire to make a difference in the lives of the animals, especially dogs, that she is around. I can’t imagine a better person to care for your dog.

I love all breeds, and I have some experience with most different breeds so I have no preference on that. I would like to know any medical history your dog has as well as if they are up to date on required vaccinations. I would also need to know how your dog does with other dogs so I could know if we could go to the dog park and interact with other dogs I may be caring for at the same time.
A typical day
I love dog training, so I would love to work on basic commands with your dog while I am with them. I also love to go on walks, and I have many different dog toys that I would be willing to bring with me. I live very close to a dog park as well, so we could walk there and play fetch. I have a friendly Dachshund mix that I would be willing to bring with to have your dog play with if that is something you would be open to and if you think that is something that your dog would enjoy!
