My name is Madalyn and I am your local dog person! My passion in life is to help people with their dogs in as many ways as possible. This goal led me to opening my own in-home dog training and boarding business! With close to ten years of experience within the canine industry you can be confident in my ability to care for your dog. I have worked as a trainer, volunteered at shelters, and boarded hundreds of dogs within my home. I am well versed in canine body language, safety protocols, canine specific sanitation, and caring for dogs with all sorts of personalities. I have watched old dogs, young dogs, healthy dogs, special needs dogs, lazy, active, social, anxious, altered, intact, playful, and shy dogs.

Madalyn has been a phenomenal dog boarder for our dog. We recently had to travel out of the country and our dog was with Madalyn for 15+ days. He was very well cared for. Madalyn takes safety very seriously, and crates dogs when they are unsupervised (ie at night), and makes sure any dogs coming over are upto date on essential vaccinations. This provides a big measure of comfort for us. We look forward to continue having our dog with Madalyn in the future.
Madalyn does a great job taking care of our two trouble-makers and they love going over to her house for play time! Would not hesitate to book again! 5 stars!

My home truly reflects my knowledge within my field. You can guarantee your dog to stay in a clean, organized environment that has been custom tailored to dogs’ needs. Yes, I am the dog lady whose home is laid out with canines in mind. I already have all the balls, tugs, kongs, puzzles, squeakers, and plushies your dog could ever need. I clean all surfaces and items in my home (and my entire yard) with pet friendly cleaner and sanitizer between dog’s stays. I keep an array of crates as each dog is assigned their own crate and water bucket upon arrival.

Upon messaging me I will ask you to fill out a short ten question form. I like to know your dog(s) personality, allergies, medications, and if they have any behavioral issues that I need to be aware of (aggression, reactivity, sensitivities). I also want to know your dog’s motivators and what they find fun! I do require all dogs be up to date on shots and the kennel cough vaccine for safety purposes.
A typical day
Despite being home with the dogs all day everyday I require dogs to be crated overnight, during feeding times, and when I cannot supervise. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised at my house; I watch all potty breaks, play times, dinner times, etc. For obvious reasons, I require all dogs to be up to date on vaccines before their stay, this keeps my dogs and yours safe. My goal for your dog’s stay is to provide you with peace of mind that your dog is in a home where it is safe and understood. I pride myself on being the sitter that dogs and people trust the most. Seeing dogs excited to walk up to my doorstep after staying here before warms my heart and drives me to do what I do. Let me be your pet sitter, I’m excited to have your dog here! Availability
With an understanding that every dog is different I approach each dog’s care as an individual. While you can expect your dog to receive a baseline of a safe home with proper care, when your dog is with me you can also expect its individual needs to be met. I am an active person who will happily play fetch, go on walks/runs, or meander to the park below my house for some play on the long line in the field or creek. Likewise, I am an avid reader who loves to curl up on the couch for cuddles and reading time.
