Pet care experience
I am currently learning about dog behavior and training, so I could give you some extra insight into how your dog is doing. I will either come alone or with my mom who also helps me handle dogs when we do Dog for a Day with the local shelter (where I have gotten more dog experience). We can play during home visits and I will give treats if you approve (and will make sure they are okay for your dog's sensitivities). On walks we can work on leash loose walking skills, if your dog does not already have them, and if they are allowed to have treats. Anything you can think of that you want, feel free to ask and I can see if we can work things out!

All I can say is, WOW! Madalena took care of our 11 month old puppy for 10 days while we were on an international trip. This is the 3rd time Madalena has looked after our puppy, and every time has been an outstanding experience. Madalena provided 2-3 updates per day... including pictures, which he was smiling in every single one. She took him on several walks each day, usually with 1 being a "long" walk to help him burn off some energy. She even worked with him on some training given her aspirations to become a dog trainer. When we came home, our house was clean and she even washed the bed sheets! Was so wonderful coming home to a happy, healthy puppy.
We were so lucky to find Madalena to stay at our house with our three dogs while we were away for the week. We received daily updates and pictures of our babies and also Madalena know about our oldest dog not getting around well and we were able to let her know about some medication we used when this happened. It was so nice knowing Madalena was extra attentive of their needs while shew was with them. Our dogs really enjoyed having her over and we look forward to working with Madalena again!
All I can say is, WOW! Madalena went above and beyond in taking care of our 10 month old puppy. She stayed at our home while we were out of town for the weekend, and shared pictures and videos several times throughout each day. She took him on multiple long walks each day to help tire him out. She let us know when our puppy was having some tummy issues and handled giving him medicine with ease. I've used Rover several times in the past, but never had someone as communicative, attentive, and loving to our pet as Madalena was this past weekend. Every picture that Madalena sent, he had the biggest smile on his face. It meant so much to us to have that peace of mind that not only was our boy being taken care of, but so was our house. The house was clean when we got home which was the cherry on top! We have Madalena booked for a 4 day vacation in April and then a 10 day vacation May, and couldn't be more excited (and comfortable) about her house sitting again.

I like to know what they know, and how their leash manners are. Reactivity (such as lunging and barking at other dogs) is important for me to know about before hand so I can decide if I will be able to control your dog. The last thing I want is to lose control and have your dog running off leash. I love all breeds and combinations, but I am a huge fan of giant breeds.
A typical day
I usually like to walk on the Beltline, but if that is too stimulating of an environment, we can walk in your own neighborhood, or somewhere close and quieter.
