Pet care experience
I love to exercise outside so when I run, I'll bring your dog with me! I used to run with my dog almost every day when she lived with me. I'll engage with them but also be stern when need be. I volunteered at the Santa Fe animal shelter for 4 years taking pictures of dogs and walking with them, allowing them to become more adoptable. I also have extensive dog behavior knowledge due to my volunteer work with Assistant Dogs of the West, so I know how to calm/soothe a hyper dog and also ease a shy dogs anxiety. I am very flexible on my days off work (Sun, Wed, Thurs, Sat) and I am willing to work with your schedule as well! Can't wait to meet you and your furry friend!

Mackie was very patient with our little ball of energy and a great communicator with me while we were gone. We plan to book with her again in the future.
Very thankful of Mackie for letting Otto out and taking him for a mid-day walk. She provided real time check-in and check-out statuses, plus a summary of the visit. Prior to the appointment, we had a meet and greet to make sure our anxious Otto got along with her. We will definitely use Mackie again.
Mackie was great with Margot and kept me up to date with her wellness. This was the longest stay we have used with Rover and we are glad it was with Mackie.

There are four dogs in my home that are split amongst myself and my roommates. We do stimulating activities with them daily which includes walks, tug of wars, other play time and performing commands for treats. I would always make sure your pet gets their needs taken care of promptly and pay special attention to their behaviors to ensure they are comfortable first.

A typical day
I am a big fitness gal so I will take your dog on walks, possibly even runs, and exercise them in the park! I like to take different routes and find it important to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. As for kitties, I have great judgement on certain personality types and will take that into consideration when judging their level/need of stimulation and attention.

Availability
I currently work full time 3 days a week (Mon, Tues and Fri) so I will mostly be available on my days off. When I do work, they are 12 hours shifts and I don't get off until 10PM so it would be tricky for me to sit pets on days I work. I am very flexible on my days off and am available all day.
