I’m Mackenzie and I can’t wait to meet you and your pup. Dogs are one of the best parts of my life and I love experiencing their joy and unique personalities. I also love how at the end of the day, no matter what mood you are in, you come home and your dog is so excited to see you. All the troubles of the day just melt away. In my twenty-five years on earth, I’ve always had a dog or cat by my side and am lucky enough to have grown up with some pretty sweet companions. I currently have a cat (no name yet!), but no dog, which is why I’m excited to share my experience and love on Rover. Additionally, I volunteer at my local animal shelter, which has given me greater knowledge on how to connect with animals. I love seeing the cats and dogs find their forever homes! In the past year I have also worked for a doggie daycare and have come across all kinds of dogs. Providing quality care to both humans and canine clients is important to me so I’ll be sure to follow your instructions and normal routine for care. I’ll also be in consistent communication, sending photo and text updates so you know your furry friend is having a safe and healthy stay with me. When I’m not spending time with my cat, I love to stay active. I try to go hiking as much as possible and would love to bring your dog with me. Hiking with a dog is super entertaining and is a great way for them to get out that pent up energy. I’m also an avid writer. I have a degree in English Studies and once tried to write a blog that rated dogs on a scale of one to ten! That was pretty difficult considering every dog is a ten in my book! I’m also very adventurous and love to travel. This past May, I worked at a hostel in Belgium for two months. I’m always looking for new adventures and your pup would be welcome to join me exploring!
