Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover all my life. Having dogs as a kid inspired me to start my own dog-walking business at 14, and it kind of just stuck! I have three lovely cats whom I adore: Cleo (2 y/o), Winifred (1 y/o), and most recently Siobhan “Shiv” (7 months). I recently moved to the LA area after getting my masters at SCAD, and I’m looking to develop a new clientele base here! My previous clients in Savannah, GA will vouch for me when I say that I consistently send 15-20 pictures per drop-in, and I do this because I know what it’s like to be on vacation and want to feel still like you are there with your pets :)

Mackenzie was so sweet with our 2 cats. We enjoyed all the photos & videos she sent during her drop-in visits and were so happy to see how great our cats were doing under her watch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Mackenzie was super great with my cats. Always on time, sent lots of pics, helped unload an early cat food delivery and my cats really liked her. Shes responsive, positive, and a reliable sitter.
Mackenzie did a great job with my two cats as usual!! I don't have to worry when I leave them in her care. She's super dependable and flexible which I really appreciate.

I am a cat parent to three cats, so I truly understand the importance of the unique care needs that cats have. Additionally, I grew up with dogs my whole life, ranging from Dachshunds to Golden Retrievers, so i both understand and appreciate the different nuisances in care that both dogs and cats need. Safety is extremely important to me and the experience I provide for you, which is why communication is such an important part of this process.

It’s really great for me to know ahead of time if your dog is reactive, or has any sensitivities that I should know about. Communication is key and allows us to be on the same page about the care I’ll be providing.
A typical day
The first thing I like to do when I meet a dog for the first time is take them for a walk. It’s a great ice breaker for more nervous and shy dogs, and it also allows me to observe your pet in a neutral environment so that I can better understand their personality! After getting to know the dog's personality that I’m caring for I will be coming up with personalized activities that both allow their needs to be met and have fun while doing so.
