Pet care experience
I grew up with two wonderful dogs, and currently own a dachshund who is my everything! I am extremely compassionate, patient, and truly love all breeds and sizes of dogs. I have a great deal of experience dog-sitting in conjunction with house-sitting, and am very respectful of others' space. Alll spaces will be left cleaner than they were previously. In addition, I love to be active and will gladly walk as well as run with your dog. I can ensure your dogs will be given the attentive love and care they deserve!

I am so relieved to have found Mackenzie. She is incredibly kind and caring. Our dog has some special needs and had just started taking a new medication prior to Mackenzie staying with her and she kept us up to date and gave feedback as to how she was doing consistently through the stay. We sincerely appreciate all of her thoughtful care and will definitely be having her back again!

A typical day
I love to walk through nature trails, and if you have high-energy pets, I welcome it! I will take any excuse to run outside in beautiful (and even not-so beautiful) weather.

Availability
I currently work part-time, and my schedule is rather flexible. I am also an early riser, meaning that I am up early for walks, breakfast feedings, and so on. This schedule stays the same on the weekends- no sleeping in for me.
