Pet care experience
I spent a year working and hiking with Parkside Pups in Victoria, BC. which was the most fun job training ever. I relocated back to Vancouver last summer and have been attending grad school and . I grew up with dogs and have my own pooch - a 7 yr old border collie/retriever. I have done my pet first aid as well! My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment, I take my own dog on a big run in the afternoons. (2-3 smaller walks at other times in the day). When it’s really hot i always find a body of water for him to cool off in. I have a large deck and Trout Lake is a 2 minute walk. There is A/C in the house as well. Pets are allowed to roam free in the house day and night.

My puppy had a great time. Mackenzie sent some great pictures of him playing with her dog. I would highly recommend her to take care of your dog.
Nano had the best evening with Mackenzie and Baz. Mackenzie even met me and Nano at an off leash park with Baz beforehand when I informed her that Nano is a little nervous around new people. Mackenzie made sure to interact with Nano and take her for a long walk on the evening of her visit. She is easy to interact with and I’d definitely recommend her!
Mackenzie did an amazing job of taking care of our four legged baby girl. She clearly has a great love for dogs which is evident in the way she took care of Layla. I would have no problem recommending Mackenzie to anyone else and will certainly book her again to take care of our dog. Her friendly personality and experience in handling dogs is a great comfort to Anyone leaving their dogs in her care. Our dog enjoyed the daily walks and playtime and clearly bonded with Mackenzie.
Max worked for me with my dog hiking business here in Victoria. Max is reliable, patient and responsible with the pups. She is fantastic at multitasking and was more than capable handling multiple dogs at a time! Max is a strong pack leader and the pups trusted and respected her. We all quickly fell in love with her and It was a huge pleasure having her and Basil in the pack. If I was in the Squamish area and needed walking/hiking or boarding for my dogs, I would fully trust them in her hands! It's not easy to find someone who is trustworthy, genuine and hardworking these days, but look no further because Max will not disappoint!!
