Anyone who has spent time with Mackenzie will tell you her greatest passion in life, is dogs. I have known Mackenzie for a long time, and her one unyealding goal has been to help, spend time with, and better understand dogs and our relationship to them. She can't pass a dog on the street withought saying hello and talking to the owner about their story. I have worked in the pet industry as a holistic dog nutritionist, a dog walker/trainer, and have voulenteered in pounds and with rescue groups for 8 years. I adopted my dog from a shelter four years ago and consider myself a serious dog lover. The first time I asked Mackenzie to babysit my very enthusiastic 100 lb. Akita I was worried she would be intimidated to walk him, but she didn't miss a beat- she asked me what he likes to play with, if she could give him treats on their walk/ if he had any allergies, if he was friendly with other dogs, and if she could help me work on any training with him. She then proceeded to get down on the floor to play with him and I could feel her love for animals and her confidence. Since then I have referred her to all of my friends looking for a dog walker or babysitter. I consider myself to be a great judge of character and knowledgable about dogs- and I can tell you right now Mackenzie is one of the kindest, most responsible people I know, and I unquestionably trust her with my dog, who is the most important thing in the world to me.
