Pet care experience
I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up on a 7 acre farm I raised horses, pigs, dogs, cats, and goats for the majority of my life. I was lucky enough to be a part of 4h for 10 years, learning how to care for and love animals as well as be responsible for their well being and health. I just moved to Providence and absolutely love it here, I've been averaging 17,000 steps a day just to admire the area with my pup!

My husband and I left Frankie with Mackenzie for a few days while we took a mini trip to the mountains. All I can say is that our trip was SO ENJOYABLE because we were confident that Frankie was being well-taken care of in her own familiar surroundings. Mackenzie is seriously the best. She keeps you updated, she's a thoughtful house guest and sends photo updates so you know your little one is happy! We will not hesitate to book Mackenzie again as a house/doggie sitter. She's just awesome.
My dogs are always well cared for with Mackenzie. She is very loving with my little guys . They get lots of cuddles and are excited when they arrive at her house...........a good sign!
Mackenzie was WONDERFUL! She stayed at our house for two weeks with our two big dogs. They adored her!! She was diligent about following our care instructions, including Rx medicine and bed rest schedule for our older dog who was recovering from an injury. She also kept us updated with pics and loved our pups like they were her own. Mackenzie is definitely a great caregiver and we will not hesitate to call on her again when we need a sitter!

I treat your fur babies as my own and prefer to stay at your house to watch your pets so that they are in a safe and in a familiar area! I never let dogs outside without being there to watch them and love to go on walks and cuddle as much as I can

Socialization, for me it is important to know whether your dog is friendly with other dogs or not. I do have my own fur baby and like to go in public places but can make adjustments if needed, but prefer that our dogs get along and for me to be able to have my dog with yours when I’m sitting!
A typical day
I like to go on runs, walks and hikes in new places and find a cute coffee shop or two that your pup and I can relax at along the way

Availability
I just started a job at USU that is Monday-Friday 9-5 but get lunch and my weekends are pretty open for adventuring around Logan and nearby! I have a pact with myself that I will hike at least one trail every weekend during the summer and all the ones I've saved are dog friendly!
