Mackenzie is great with my little dog Fran. I don't worry at all when she is there with her. Fran has a good time (and so does Mackenzie)!

I was very pleased with Mackenzie. She arrived right on time and immediately engaged with my dog (not an easy task). She sent me adorable pictures and my dog told me she was a super sitter who can come anytime!

Part time dog sitter and walker

Hi there! My name is Mackenzie and I am here in New York studying at Marymount Manhattan College. One of my biggest passions is and always have been animal care. Obviously, the ideal situation is that animals are with their owners, but everybody gets busy and I find it an absolute honor to have the opportunity to be the next best thing for your dog! I have an abundance of experience with dogs. First of ...

What Mackenzie would like to know about your dog

Generally, prior to sitting a dog, I like to know if they have any special needs or quirks. For example, if a dog needs to take medication and he/she has a way they prefer it (peanut butter, kongs, milkbone sandwiches) I would like to know so that I can accommodate them as best I can and ensure that they are as comfortable as possible with me. I also like to be made aware of any medical conditions (allergies, epilepsy, etc) so that if these conditions act up I can be prepared to handle it well. Lastly, I like to have the phone number and address of the regular and/or emergency veterinarian you prefer your dog to go to should any emergency ever come up.

When Mackenzie watches your pet

During walks with dogs that I work with I love to take them to Central Park as well as the path on FDR drive. If neither are nearby, I will often take dogs to parks nearby. If there is a fenced in area and the owner is comfortable with it, I love to bring dogs to play fetch or tug outside. In the home, dogs I work with will enjoy an abundance of play time, scratches, and snuggles.
