Pet care experience
I love all animals, from fish to horses, and I am more than capable of taking care of anything you throw at me! I am very responsible and have a wide range of petsitting experience over the last fifteen years including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, as well as tiny creatures like hamsters, fish, guinea pigs, and even snakes! I'm very comfortable feeding, bathing, administering medication, walking, and of course playing with dogs of every shape, size and age. I would love nothing more than to meet you and your fur babies, and give them the best care I possibly can while you are away! I promise that I will give them as much love as I would give my own animals :) I have plenty of references upon request, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Mackenzie was a God-send for us during vacation! She kept me updated, sent pictures, and was super thorough with the care of both my dog and cat. They are both on somewhat difficult diets and she went the extra mile to make sure they got what they needed. She was also extremely kind and considerate when my dog started having some separation anxiety. I will absolutely book with Mackenzie again!
McKenzie was in a word, AMAZING! My husband and I are pretty picky about our sitters and it’s so difficult to find great help but if you are looking, search mo further! McKensie was friendly and professional. She gave us daily updates with photos and followed up with me even before I contacted her first. The house we came home to was clean and as if no one had been there! And, most importantly my pups LOVED her! They were happy and well cared for when we got home.
Have used Mackenzie multiple times now! She is the best!

I have a fenced yard and am able to crate your dog as needed (we prefer to crate at night for the safety of our cat, who roams). We can play in the yard with frisbees, balls, etc, although any walks require a ride in the car since we live on a main road without a sidewalk.

Please let me know if your dog has any anxious or reactive tendencies, whether toward people or other dogs (this is something I’d need to know for walks or if your dog is staying at our home). The safety of my son is hugely important and I understand if that may cause some clients to look elsewhere—no problem! We won’t be the best fit for everyone and vice versa! But we do have plenty of love to give to the pets and clients who do feel comfortable booking with us :)
A typical day
We love to be outside, go on walks at tanglewood, and play with toys in the yard! I also love to do little stimulation/training exercises—I did these with my dog for fun and to work on his training!

Availability
I’m home for a good portion of most days with the exception of an errand or two. My son usually naps mid-day, so visits can be scheduled around that time.
