CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR DOG WALKING. NOT OFFERING BOARDING AT THIS TIME. I'm currently a student at UTM finishing up my degree in Animal and Dairy Science. I am also a new stay-at-home-mom to a little girl (currently 15 months old) & have been using Rover as a way to help provide for my family. I am a former Kennel Manager, but before then, was an animal caretaker. I also grew up volunteering at my local animal shelter in Ohio. I foster dogs from a local Border Collie rescue and absolutely love it. I have handled dogs of all temperaments and have 2 of my own that I love so much! I especially have experience in dealing with dogs that are anxious and reactive. I can give your dogs medication if they need it and follow any diet restrictions. I'm not a professional dog trainer, but I love training my dogs, and would love to help with any basic obedience if needed. I know how nerve-racking it is to leave your fur-babies, but rest assured, your animals will be in great hands with me. I’m a stay at home mom so my schedule is very open. I have the availability to take care of your pet and meet their needs- however that may look like. I have a fenced yard and dogs of my own that love to play with other dogs. I also have the experience from working as a veterinary assistant and an animal care attendant as well as having all sorts of animals throughout my life.

McKenzie is absolutely reliable and caring. She took care of my Cleto with lot of attention and care. She has been available also to give him medications. She played with Cleto and I found him happy and not stressed on my return. She has been very respectful of the house, always punctual and precise. McKenzie is extremely professional. Wonderful pictures every visit. I recommend to contact her but leaving her free for my Cleto ?

When caring for pets in my clients home, I follow all instructions provided by their owner. I always make sure your dog or cat gets plenty of playtime & has food/water. I never want to do anything that may stress your pets out & let them ease into getting to know me.
Information Mackenzie M. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences, but I would like to know some brief medical history about your dog- if they're on an medications, have any anxiety/aggression, have any allergies, etc. Due to having a child, the dogs that come into my home must be okay with children. I will always supervise and make sure my child is playing appropriately with your dog. It is preferable if they do well with other animals (dogs/cats) but I can separate them if need be.
A typical day
I will play fetch with your dog, take them to some trails. If your dog loves to go for runs, I can do that as I am an avid runner. I will also provide your dog with some fun canine enrichment (brain games).
