Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Mackenzie, and I’m a woman in my twenties who’s lived in Portland all my life. I’ve always been an animal lover - in fact, when I was in kindergarten I wrote my parents letters every day for a year begging for a dog until we adopted our first pup, Buddy, then later a second, Mic. I have personal experience caring for dogs of all ages, including young puppies and seniors.

I have used Mackenzie twice now and have had nothing but a great experience! She sends lot of pictures and updates, which makes leaving your pup behind on a trip go a lot smoother. We will use Mackenzie again in the future!

I just had Mackenzie watch my 4 year old border collie mix “Riley” for 6 days and couldn’t have been happier. I could tell Riley was immediately comfortable and Mackenzie is a total pro with dogs. I received updates and photos throughout the whole stay and I felt comfortable knowing Riley wasn’t only getting taken care of but she was having a great time too. Mackenzie has a couple of friendly cats and even though Riley had never really met cats before they all got on great. Will be asking Mackenzie to watch Riley again for sure. Thanks!

Plenty of walks in beautiful Evergreen Cemetery and Baxter Woods! I also love to hike and go to the beach if your pup is up for it! I also love lapdogs, and have the perfect couch for snuggles.
