INTRODUCTION: Hi there! Thanks so much for clicking on my profile. My name is Mackenzie. I'm 27 and have been pet sitting full time for 4 years. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge dog lover. A dream of mine is to open a non-profit shelter for at-risk dogs that need homes. So if you do book a service with me - thank you for contributing to my dream! EXPERIENCE: My dog is so important to me, so I understand that when you leave, you want your dog to be in good hands. I have had over 5 of my own dogs growing up - big and small, all with various personalities. I've watched around 40+ dogs prior to making a Rover account, most of which turned out to be reoccurring customers. I try to go above and beyond for the dogs and the owners by providing excellent care. I don’t breed discriminate so pitties and sheps or whatever else doesn’t matter to me as long as we get along at the meet and greet we will be best pals.

I would recommend Mackenzie wholeheartedly to walk your dog. She came to us during a very rough time in my life. I brought my Mom to my home after her stay in the hospital with cancer, hospice was with my Mom during the day and MacKenzie would stop by daily for drop in visits. After my Mom’s passing, I continued with MacKenzie, and she was a big part of transitioning my Mom’s dog to her new life with me. MacKenzie has been with Angel for 18 months and she has been 100% reliable. She understands our dog well and has a good bond with her, she never has let me down. She is very professional and she loves dogs! I feel happy entrusting her with my dog.
Carson, my working line GSD (German Shepherd Dog), absolutely loves and looks forward to Mackenzie coming to pick him up for a walk/jog each weekday morning! He's really going to miss her when she moves to NC. As a pet parent to a medium drive working line dog, I was impressed that Carson's high energy level didn't phase Mackenzie. She was comfortable, at ease, and handled him with finesse. At the end of each outing, she played with him in the house and set him up with a Toppl full of treats. I had zero worries about Mackenzie showing up. Mackenzie is wonderful to work with. When Carson had an injury or GI issues, she was understanding and accommodating about adjusting his schedule. Really helped lower my stress level knowing she is accommodating and fair. She also checked in on Carson when he was under the weather or recovering from a neuter surgery. P.S. One time, Carson locked her out of the house, so I'd suggest giving Mackenzie a backup way into the house. LOL
Mackenzie has watched my fur babies multiple times and always does a great job! They do well with her and enjoy her company when she’s there. She provides ample communication and pictures while you’re away to know your kids are doing well. I can’t recommend her enough!

No breed restrictions!! Just tell me anything your pet is uneasy about so I’m aware please (ex. loud noises, tall men, other dogs, no hats etc). Also please let me know if they have any medical issues I should be looking out for. Thank you for considering me and I look forward to meeting you + your furry friends.
A typical day
Whether it’s fetch, tug-o-war, belly rubs or ear scratches - your pets and I will have a great time! If you have a high energy pup - no worries! I am more than happy to run them and get some of that energy out for when you get home.

Availability
SCHEDULE: For drop-in visits I have availability anytime day or night - let me know what you’re looking for! For house sitting - the price you see reflects me being gone around 8-5, however, I can stay with your dog a good portion of the day if needed for an additional charge. I would probably need to leave from around 10:30am-3:30pm (with possibility of a midday drop in as well) but can be there the whole rest of the day and night. Please let me know if you would need more frequent care and I can give you an adjusted price based on your needs. I am not just letting your dog out but giving them complete attention, company, walks and play all day long (& giving you lots of updates and pictures!).
