Pet care experience
Nursing student with a love for animals. I have been dog-sitting for five years now, dedicating time to ensure the well-being of the pets under my supervision and to ensure the satisfaction of my customers. Pet care experience ranges from small to large dogs of all ages and cats of all ages, too. Your dog loves visiting the park? No problem, we’ll make our way there! Your dog is anxious and misses you throughout the day? I’m there to comfort him or her. Got a cat with medical needs? Let’s discuss their medications and physical limitations. In addition to working with a wide range of pets, I am comfortable with multiple pet households, having regularly watched over two dogs for one family and chickens, cats, and a dog for another (as a couple examples). I also own two cats and one large dog of my own, whom I love dearly. They are my greatest companions, and I hope to give your pets the same love and attention!

Mackenzie takes great care of our two older cats when we're away, one of which needs a pill twice a day. She is very responsive and recently was very flexible in accommodating me when there were changes to my travel plans that changed up the visit schedule. I know our "taters" will be in good hands with her!

It’s important to me to make the most of your space while respecting your boundaries and keeping your pet safe. I don’t let pets out of my sight while I care for them. Anytime messes made while you’re away will be cleaned up!

It is extremely helpful to understand a dog's level of socialization, both with humans and with other dogs, especially if walking is involved. A few other things I find helpful include: your pet's favorite toys and treats, as well as his or her "no touch" areas (for example, my cat does not like his back legs touched).
A typical day
Playtime and social interaction are what make pets the sunshine of our human existence! I love to cater to your pets’ preferences and keep them stimulated. This might include a long walk, a visit to the river’s edge for sniffs and exploration, a game of fetch, or a laser chase!

Availability
Because I commute for school, and I work on a per diem basis, my schedule varies greatly from week to week. If we are a good fit for one another, your pet’s needs will be my top priority during their designated time, despite my busy schedule!
